During
post-war period the realization of the reconstruction
project of park "Rotefans", former
garden «Villa Petrolea», founded in 1940
was essentially completed. New grounds were
added to the old territory. An open swimming
pool was included in the complex of the
park. The coloring of the park was kept,
and new objects blended originally with
existing landscape architecture, and flower-beds
enrich the coloring.
Later on, the park was repeatedly exposed
to realignment. The entrance of the park,
a number of its pavilions, and an external
fence were replaced. Intrapark paths began
to look in a modern fashion, trees and bushes,
once brought Lankaran, Tbilisi, Batumi and
other cities, and also taken from the nurseries
of Russia and Europe, beautify the area
between the paths. The territory of the
park is 13,6 ha.
