Square of Green Theatre

Green theatre that is an interesting example of landscape architecture of the beginning of the sixties is situated at the bottom of Mountainous Park. Natural folds of the park territory and existing here trees have been originally used for auditorium and lobby.
Weeping willows, Eldar pines and a number of large-crowned species of trees supplement the common decorative - art appointments of the theatre. The square surrounding it was densely planted with green plantings, thanks to which it was called “Green theatre”.
Being situated between the two green zones, most visited by Baku citizens - Mountainous park and Boulevard, the Green theatre with its square connects them as if in a unified landscape-ecological system.
