The head of
the State Commission of Admission of Students
of the Azerbaijan Republic is a candidate
of technical science Maleika Abbaszade Mehdi
gizi. She is one of the first graduates
of the faculty of "Calculus mathematics
and cybernetics", founded in the State University
of Moscow named M. Lomonosov in 1970. After
having graduated from the higher school
she was busy with the research effort in
the Computer Center under the AS of the
USSR and Institute of Cybernetics under
the ?S of Azerbaijan. After having returned
to Azerbaijan she took part in the establishment
of the Association "Istedad" and laying
the scientific foundation of testing in
the Republic. Her scientific interests:
systems analysis, research of operations,
use of computer information technologies
in education.
Functions
of the State Commission of Admission of
Students of the Azerbaijan Republic:
Centralized
conducting of the admission of students,
working out of rules of the admission of
students to higher schools and colleges,
conducting of examinations, preparation
and conducting of organizational, scientific
- methodical and planning activity and for
these purposes computer technologies according
to the state policy of the Azerbaijan Republic;
Preparation
of proposals on basis of the system analysis
and forecasting of development of higher
and secondary special education on basis
of results of entrance examinations;
Research
of needs for specialists and preparation
of proposals for change and improvement
of the structure of education and nomenclature
of specialties;
Conducting
of other certifying activities on basis
of test system charged by the state;
The State
Commission of Admission of Students of the
Azerbaijan Republic takes special place
in the system of education as one of the
state authorities, and it is independent
in its activity and submits to the President
of the Azerbaijan Republic.
